About My Work

I’m a writing and marketing veteran who has a demonstrated track record of versatility and editorial excellence. Most of my work over the last several years has been for three publications:

  • Barron's
  • I was hired to write the Electronic Investor column in 1996. Columns explored and analyzed investor research Websites. I pioneered the publication's Best of the Web feature, which ran annually for several years.
  • PC Magazine
  • Since 1993, I’ve been the lead financial writer, reviewing personal finance, tax, and small business accounting software.
  • Kiplinger's Personal Finance Magazine
  • I originated the magazine's technology column in the 90's, which explained and analyzed a variety of personal and small business computer products and technologies.
My years as a journalist/reviewer have given me experience writing about both high-tech products and organizations. I'm able to produce:
  • articles
  • columns
  • social media posts
  • reviews
  • marketing materials
  • backgrounders
  • newsletters and blogs
